The Vibrational Sound® Association (VSA) focuses on the education of students in using unique instruments such as singing bowls for sound therapy through teaching, workshops, and training. The VSA is dedicated to the continued evolution of the Vibrational Sound® Therapy (VST) modality. The continual input of teacher, practitioner, and client contribute to a partnership in furthering the goals of the VSA. The Vibrational Sound® Association also acknowledges the importance of the tools of the method - singing bowls, bells, tingshas, chimes, and gongs. The VSA seeks to further the use of these ancient tools in a modern and structured modality that is an ordered and efficient relaxation system.
Vibrational Sound® Therapy relies on specifically engineered Therapeutic Singing Bowls that provide stress relief through extreme relaxation provided during the session. VST works through the actual contact of the singing bowls and the human body. The modality is constantly growing and changing with input from our community of practitioners, instructors, and clients. Using this information, the method becomes a conscious living entity based on our therapeutic relationships.
The Vibrational Sound® Therapy instruction is provided through a set of workshops. Classes are scheduled in advance and are available both domestically and abroad. Training ranges from two-day basic instruction courses to full week long certification courses to multiple installment instructors training.
This class is approved for CEU's for massage therapists from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). Our 6 day certification class qualifies for 42 hours of credit.
