January 15 Fly to Bali Indonesia
January 16 Arrive in Bali Indonesia. Greeted by your host and private transport to the hotel in Ubud.
January 17 Sunrise Walking Tour strolling the magical Streets of Ubud. This morning stroll through the Ubud Market, village lanes, fields and forest. Enjoy a local lunch provided and a free afternoon to relax or explore.
Welcome dinner in the evening is included.
January 18 Experience the Holy Springs of Tirta Empul: Bali’s Sacred Water Temple. Built in the 10th-century, Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple, and is considered sacred by the community. Worshippers take part in ancient cleansing rituals here and visitors are welcomed to join.

Visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This unique waterfall tucked beneath Tembuku’s jungle caves is unlike any other in Bali. It's a 15-minute trek down some steep steps, but well worth the effort. While the waters at the base of the falls are too shallow to swim in, you can stand under the fine mist, as rays of light shine down from the cave opening above.
January 19 Explore Tihingan. Tihingan Village is a Balinese craftsmen’s village in Klungkung in East Bali that’s renowned for producing most of the island’s original gamelan instruments. These include gongs, the different metallophones that make up most of the gamelan ensemble, as well as 2-sided drums. They even produce the ritual objects and brass and copper items used by Balinese priests in general prayers and holy blessings. Throughout the village are different gamelan smith households with workshops and galleries.

January 20 Visit Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Waterfall, and Rice Terrace. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. It is also known as the Ubud Monkey Forest. The Sanctuary is home to over 1260 long-tailed macaques, who are considered sacred by the local Balinese people.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Tegalalang Rice Terrace is centuries old, making this journey through its layers an ancient one. Although, the changing times have also changed this historical gem tucked into the hills north of Ubud, Bali.
It was added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 2012 for its cultural significance. Tegalalang Rice Terrace features a special water system called “subak.” Water from springs flows into water temples and from there, is distributed through the rice paddies.
Tegenungan Waterfall. Air Terjun Tegenungan is a beautiful natural waterfall located just a half-hour drive from Ubud. The lush greenery and picturesque falls are a great photo op to commemorate your trip to Bali. When the conditions are good, you can take a dip in the inviting pool at the base. For a bird's eye view of the falls, be sure to check out the viewpoint near the entrance.
January 21 Experience Temple Day. Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. This lakeside temple was constructed in honor of Dewi Danu, goddess of the lake that was formed by a volcanic eruption 30,000 years ago.
Jatiluwih Green Land. Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The scenic drive through the quaint villages and verdant slopes of the central coastal regency of Tabanan adds to the experience.

Luhur Batukaru Temple. Batukaru Temple, referred to by locals as Pura Luhur Batukaru, is one of Bali’s key temples. It's located at the foot of namesake Mount Batukaru, which stands at 2,270 meters above sea level. The temple is surrounded by cool natural forests, providing a pleasant layover for nature lovers.
Tanah Lot Temple. Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, which is famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons.
The onshore site of the Tanah Lot temple complex is dotted with smaller shrines together with visitors’ leisure facilities that comprise restaurants, shops and a cultural park where regular dance performances are shown regularly.
January 22 Check out of Ubud Hotel. Experience a Balinese Cooking Class. Learn how to cook Balinese dishes and get to enjoy them for lunch.
Drive to Nusa Dua and check into new hotel.
January 23 Visit Nusa Penida Island. Take a boat from Sanur to one of Bali’s most enchanting locations. This spectacular island is outlined by towering limestone cliffs and surrounded by azure waters. This grants you access to top sights such as the Insta-famous Kelingking Beach, Paluang Cliff, and Crystal Bay—a popular spot for snorkeling and catching the sunset.
January 24 Beach rest and relax day. Take a stroll on the beach, go to the spa, relax by the pool, or join an optional a la carte tour.
January 25 Check out of the Nusa Dua hotel. Private transport to Bali airport. Fly home.
What’s included?
-All 9 nights 4-5 Star hotel accommodations are included in package prices
-Gourmet international breakfast included daily at the hotels(9 total).
-Most lunches are included. Lunches are included on all tour and travel days (7 total) (Lunches can range from $2-$3 for local food or 4-5 star Restaurants for $20+ and everything in between.)
-One dinner is included at the hotel on the first full day. (Dinners can range from $2-$3 for local food or 4-5 star Restaurants for $30+ and everything in between.)
-All guides and transportation for all scheduled events are included. All scheduled events fees are included such as admission fees and taxes.
-Round Trip private transportation to and from the airport and the hotel
-Round Trip private ground transportation from Ubud to Nusa Dua is included.
***Airfare from the USA is not included but we can assist you in finding flights for $100 booking fee. Economy Tickets this time of year cost $1000-$2000 depending on schedule and airports if you book early. Business/First tickets cost $6000-$9000 depending on schedule and airports if you book early. We suggest you book your air tickets 6+ months in advance.
Total Trip Cost per person:
Double Occupancy $3988 per person Share a hotel room with someone you know or the VSA will provide you a list of others looking for a roommate (We can not guarantee a roommate and have no control if one cancels. If your roommate cancels or any issues arise, then you must purchase single occupancy). Each room will have 2 twin beds and share a bathroom.
Single Occupancy $4888 per person A private hotel room during your entire trip to Thailand.
Payments:
A $500 deposit must be made to reserve your spot. An additional $1000 payment is due December 15, 2023, additional $1000 payment is due February 29, 2024, additional $1000 payment is due April 30, 2024, and Final balance is due by June 30, 2024.
Due to our costs for hotel, travel, and tours all deposits are nonrefundable after March 31, 2024. Payments paid are non-refundable after June 30, 2024. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover costs if you are unable to make the tour.
